Bus trip
Two buses leave from the north side of Helsinki Central Railway station on Friday 19th June at 11:00. You will find the busses from front of the Finnish National Theater or from Mikonkatu side. Busses stop wherever they find a place for parking. There will be an *es logo for identification. The contact people for the busses are Stiina 050-344 5458 and Antti 044 5678 688. If you are late the busses will not wait. Be sure you are on the place at 10:45 the latest.

Registration and enrolment to *es Hustle Vonka 2009 is done in the lobby of the Main building where the main inside Exercise Facilities are located. Registration/Enrolment happens at each full hour starting at 13:00, because until then the children’s camp is still being liquidated and there may be last minute cleaning of the rooms. We recommend anyone should not arrive before 13.00.

The busses arrive between 14:00-15:00. The greatest rush at registration/enrolment will be at that time. Registration is open all evening at each full hour thereafter until 18:00. At registration you will receive a wrist strap, which is proof of payment and which should be used at all times. You will also receive a wooden clothespin onto which you can custom design your *es name. Those participants who are not single i.e do not wish to be approached by other sex singles with a relationship in mind, will write down either a letter R (R=Romance ongoing). A letter E (E=erhe/error), person has been dating someone who also might be attending the same event and as usual if he/she would not use this letter people tend to think the relationship is still ongoing) is to exactly enforce/promote the approaches by other sexes. You may also see a letter P (P=pariutuneet/gotten married or live together in a relationship resembling marriage) on some name clothes pins. This indicates that both of these people have been members of *es before getting together.

The tickets for the prepaid Downhill race car drive and to the Fiskars Iron Works quided tour field trip you will also receive at registration.

After registration with *es you will enrol as a guest of Kisakeskus by filling in their official accommodation providers form. Then you will receive keys to your accommodation. You will also receive a peace of paper onto which you write down your name. The paper you shall put on your bed, as the beds in the rooms go on first come first choose principal. If you are staying in a tent, caravan or mobile home after registration you can go directly to the designated camping and caravan areas. For security reasons your name will be written on a list outside the building you are staying at.

Cars and other vehicles
All vehicles should be parked on the designated areas. You will be guided to park by *es personnel. In case you need to deliver camping material, caravans etc. any other heavy items into the Vonka site, you should get the permission beforehand. Phone: 046 625 1376.

Opening Games Ceremony
The traditional opening Games/Ceremony 15:30 – 16:00 this year takes about 30 minutes and happens on the Playing Grounds/Puuhapiha.

The disciplinary board is transparent. We hope its meeting is unnecessary. The punishment is removal from premises, if the participant’s cheerful Midsummer feeling cannot be conjured up/restarted by any other means.
